Purpose

The purpose of Abundant Life is to:

• Love God with all of our hearts, all of our souls, all of our minds, and all of our strength
• Love our neighbours as ourselves
• Preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God

Vision

The vision of Abundant Life is to become a healing community that brings the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ into the lives of people by showing them how to have a living relationship with Him and by ministering restoration to any and all areas where they are oppressed.

To encourage and underpin this vision we look to the example of Jesus Himself.

"And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him." (Acts 10:38).

Oppression comes in many forms that weigh us down, things like sin, sickness, depression, poverty, abuse, anxiety, and any number of other forms. We believe that God’s healing power can overcome any oppression and restore the mind, body, soul, and spirit of the believer.

Mission

The purpose and vision of Abundant Life combine to give us our mission as we walk forward in our faith.

The mission of this church is that Christ be formed in us (Galatians 4:19) through a process of transformation accomplished through discipleship where we, being anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power, are obedient to His commands and equipped with the life and ministry skills needed to fulfill the vision (Ephesians 4:12).
